Helicentre Successes

First Solo Flight for Adam

On Monday, Adam, one of our students from January’s Integrated Commercial Course intake, took to the skies for his very first solo flight in a helicopter. Guided by his instructor, Adam successfully completed a full circuit around the airspace of Leicester Airport. Solo flights are a major milestone in any pilot’s journey, being confident and independent in the cockpit is something to be proud of. A huge congratulations to Adam on this achievement and we can’t wait to see the rest of his classmates take on their first solo flight too.

Welcoming Our Newest Integrated Students

Also yesterday, we welcomed the newest group of students to join our Integrated Commercial Pilot Training Programme. After completing their induction day on Friday, the group went straight into their ground school studies on module one. This first module lays the essential foundation that supports all future flying.

We’re thrilled to be part of the journey for each and every one of our new students and look forward to seeing their growth and accomplishments as they progress through the course.
