Helicentre Aviation Launches 2027 Commercial Helicopter Scholarship

With the deadline for 2026 Scholarship applications just three months away, Helicentre Aviation Academy is thrilled to be able to once again offer a Helicopter Pilot Scholarship programme for 2027. This will be the 15th year the academy has offered such a life-changing opportunity to help pilots fast-track their way onto the career ladder.

Helicentre Aviation will award a full Commercial Pilot (CPL(H)) Scholarship, with a value of £65,000. The CPL(H) Scholarship will cover the entire cost of post-PPL(H) hour building, the ATPL(H) theoretical knowledge course and the complete CPL(H) modular flying course, a total of up to approximately 150 hours flight time in a Guimbal Cabri G2.

“Our Scholarship programme has continued to be extremely successful, helping students with funding in order to complete their professional training,” Chairman Chris Line explained. “We have been extremely busy in recent years with a high number of students going offshore and as a result this has created a significant demand for pilots across onshore operations. The programme continues to allow us to provide students with career opportunities including working for Helicentre as charter pilots, as well as Line Pilots on our numerous utility contracts. Our demand has never been higher!”

Anyone wishing to apply for this incredible scholarship opportunity should ensure they have submitted their application and completed their PPL(H) course with Helicentre Aviation by 31st July 2027.
