2026 Commercial Helicopter Pilot Scholarship Now Live!
Helicentre will be awarding a Commercial Helicopter Pilot scholarship in 2026! If you're an aspiring helicopter pilot this could be the opportunity you've been looking for!
We have awarded over £1.2 million in training scholarships, sponsorships and bursaries to dozens of trainee helicopter pilots since the first awards were made in 2012, providing twelve years of life-changing career opportunities for our student pilots.
Previous scholarship recipients are now employed in a diverse range of helicopter flying roles, including HEMS, Offshore Energy, Search and Rescue, Utility and Pilot Training- this could be you!
The scholarship fund will assist trainee helicopter pilots to fast-track their careers and will continue to provide exceptional, qualified professional helicopter pilots to the uk crew supply chain.
The Scholarship will be awarded in September 2026.
It’s open to applicants training at either of the Academy’s training centres (Leicester or Oxford) who can complete a self-funded Private Helicopter Pilot’s Licence by 31st July 2026.
