This week, two training crews embarked on an exciting cross-country helicopter trip, taking in a range of UK destinations.
The journey began in Leicester and headed west to Cardiff, where they landed at Cardiff Heliport to conclude the first leg.
On day two, they flew to Land’s End and the Isles of Scilly, finishing the day in Newquay.
On the final day, the crews returned to Leicester via the south coast and London Heli Lanes, an impressive way to see the capital.
These trips offer a valuable chance for students to build flight hours and gain hands-on experience in varied airspace and conditions. As students on our Integrated course, Ian and Matt were able utilise their student pilot in command (SPIC) hours under the guidance of our experienced instructors.
