Utility Helicopter Pilot (R44)

Helicentre Aviation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced pilot to join our team of professionals. We are inviting applications for the position of Experienced Utility Helicopter Pilot to support our specialised pipeline operations based out of Leicester / Oxford. The role includes other flying duties within the company as required and may lead to fast progression into further career development opportunities and additional responsibilities within the company, therefore previous experience and any transferable skills will be looked at positively.
Helicentre Aviation Limited is a leading utility operator and training academy headquartered at Leicester Airport in the Midlands. The company aim is to provide a seamless solution to our utility clients with highly personalised customer service. This is an opportunity to join our growing team as our service portfolio expands into the wider twin and instrument rating markets.
Line Pilot duties (including but are not limited to) :
• Operation of single-pilot Commercial Air Transport (CAT) and Specialised Operations (SPO) flights
• Preparation of loading / APS data, and general admin duties connected with the role
• The monitoring of CAA Safety Directives, Safety Notices and Company communications
• Complying with the Company Operations Manual and the Safety Management System
• Assisting the Chief Pilot and senior management with any other duties as required
Other Flying Duties :
• If qualified, and in accordance with the FTL scheme, training and examining flights
• Carrying out positioning flights and maintenance ground runs as required
Preferred Experience Requirements :
• CPL(H) or ATPL(H)
• Robinson R44 type rating and operational experience
• 1,000 hours total helicopter flight time preferable
• 500 hours Pilot In Command
• 250 hours single-engine, low level
• UK flying experience essential
• First aid and Fire qualified (can be provided if not held, and CRM and line training will be provided)
Desirable Qualities :
Pilots who also hold FI(H), FE(H) or TRE(H) privileges and/or are Line Training Captains are encouraged to apply as experience in this field would be advantageous to the role. Type ratings and experience flying the Cabri G2 as well as the R44.
