ATPL(H)/IR TK Distance

Helicentre Aviation is EASA-approved to provide a three module theoretical knowledge courses for CPL(H), ATPL(H)/IR and a fixed wing to rotary bridging course.

Distance learning courses enable you to progress at your own pace, using the ATPdigital state-of-the-art computer-based training programme in partnership with Bristol Ground School.

We understand that for many, this part of the modular training is the most difficult and this is the area where we’d like to give you the most help.

Our monthly consolidation classes in all subjects are delivered by a highly experienced full-time ground instructor at our Leicester base, helping you to consolidate knowledge and prepare you to sit your exams.

Pre-entry Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold an ICAO PPL(H)

Course Requirements

  • Self-study the required CBT materials
  • Attend three consolidtaion weeks
  • Pass 13 exams for CPL(H)
  • Pass 14 exams for ATPL(H)
  • Pass five exams for ATPL(A) to ATPL(H)

Maths and Physics Refresher

Before you start the ATPL study, there is a module on Maths and Physics to ensure your level of knowledge is sufficient for the remainder of the course. There are no EASA exams in these subjects.
