Flight Instructors Rating

Once you have achieved your CPL many pilots choose to move straight on to the Flight Instructors rating. Helicopter training organisations are generally busy at the moment and the market for flight instructors is better than it has been for some time.

Nothing will improve your flying as much as the Flight instructors course and teaching pupils how to fly. The course itself is challenging with a combination of flying and groundschool. To commence the course you will need to have attained a total of 250 hours flight in Helicopters and it usually takes 4 weeks to complete. We operate with some of the most experienced instructors in the country, the course comprises:

  • 30 Hours Flying time
  • 125 Hours theoretical Knowledge Instruction
