The first major Helicentre trip for 2009 has been scheduled for April 13th - 15th.
The mountain flying course, which will be held in the stunning surrounds of Snowdonia, will be an excellent opportunity for the PPL(H) hour builder or student to appreciate the special techniques required to fly safely in the mountains.
There will be a selection of aircraft going along, including R22, R44 and JetRanger, and these aircraft will be based locally to Snowdon for the three days.
The aircraft will be available to fly across from Coventry on the Monday morning, but pilots are also welcome to drive (or ride) to Wales to do the course as well as join in with the lunchtime and evening activities (which always provide excellent opportunities to meet other pilots and talk about helicopters!).
Several instructors will be available to train in all the aircraft types, and bookings are being taken for short taster flights as well as 3 and 5 hour mountain courses. If you can't make all three days why not pop along for one or two?
