Congratulations to Roberth Eliasson from Sweden who passed his FI(H) Assessment of Competence yesterday!
Roberth has worked hard to reach the standard required to become a qualified flight instructor teaching PPL(H) students to fly helicopters.
He was tested yesterday by Captain Fred Cross, chief CAA examiner and achieved a pass in all flying and theoretical elements of the assessment. Roberth is delighted with the result and looks forward to returning to Sweden to apply for his new FI(H) certificate and work as a helicopter flight instructor.
Yesterday was also a big milestone for FIC instructor Captain Simon Wiles (pictured with Roberth above), as Roberth was his first flight instructor course student since he became qualified to teach the course earlier this year.
