Helicentre to Host Robinson Safety Course

Helicentre will be hosting their next two day Robinson Safety Course on 3rd and 4th November. The course will be conducted by Captain Dick Sanford, the UK based Robinson representative, and is an absolutely invaluable course for any Robinson helicopter pilot to attend.

There will also be two hours of advanced emergencies flight training to undertake in order to complete the course. This will need to be booked in separately soon after the ground school course has finished, but several R22 and R44 helicopters will be available to complete the training.

The course curriculum includes a review of past R22 and R44 accidents, their causes and how they could be avoided, helicopter theory, and critical flight conditions. The course also covers the R22 and R44 Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) and Manoeuvre Guide and R22 Flight Training Guide, an in-depth look at the R22 and R44 systems and a review of maintenance and pre-flight procedures, a course review, written examination and critique.

Find out more about the course in our events section, or contact us to book your place. This is a popular course so book early to avoid disappointment.
