Congratulations to Helicentre's MD Chris Line for completing the Plymouth Half Marathon and beating his fund-raising target!
Chris took part in the Plymouth Half Marathon today to help raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and more specifically to help his dear friend Simon Adams raise the £1million target he has set himself whilst suffering from MND himself.
Since Simon was diagnosed with MND he made a decision to create a "bucket list". He is rapidly getting through the list, and his desire to raise £1million for MND gets stronger each day. The Golden 100 is a group of Simon's friends who took part in the half marathon in Plymouth today to support his goals.
Thank you to everyone who made a donation. You have helped a great cause and made it possible for Simon get one step closer to his goal - turning his illness into something positive to help others long after his death.
