Another Student Achieves First Solo!

Well done to Tim Crisp, who achieved his first solo this Christmas Eve! Tim started flying a few months ago with a trial lesson in the R22, and has been hooked ever since.

Today was a beautiful crisp winter's morning with little wind and after a really successful morning flight in the R22, instructor Sarah Bowen decided it was time to get out and leave Tim to fly a circuit all by himself.

"It was the best Christmas present I could have hoped for - Sarah really sprung it on me and although it was totally unexpected it was absolutely great!" Tim said.

It will probably take some time for the grin to fade from Tim's face. It's a great milestone and a moment that he will never forget. Well done Tim!
