The BBC weather site provides forecast information for various UK towns, cities and airports, as well as a UK weather map showing rain and snow forecast to fall over the coming five days and pressure and wind charts.

ECMWF - Long Range Synoptic

The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts provides worldwide synoptic charts forecasting up to 240 hours ahead. An excellent resource for flight planning through Europe and the rest of the world.

A 180 hour animated rain forecast showing the UK and Eurpoe. A brilliant resource for pilots to plan ahead and help make the right decision about flying.

A comprehensive range of high quality weather products, agreed with the CAA, as well as training courses for those who fly recreationally.

Oadby Weather

Excellent resource from a weather station very close to Leicester Airport. Weather readings are updated hourly and include webcams, sunrise, sunset, wind and temperature / pressure indications.

ProPilots Weather

All kinds of useful weather information, from worldwide synoptic charts, to TAFs, METARs, rainfall radar and much more, from various sources including the US Air Force and Jeppesen.

XC Weather

A very useful UK map where current weather information is taken from carefully calibrated instruments sited at each location and barring technical difficulties will accurately reflect the conditions at the time of the observation. The maps are updated regularly and also show forecast weather and wind for the coming days.
