Trial Lesson

A trial lesson is an air experience flight, designed to do exactly that; give you a chance experience helicopter flight at the controls. It could be the first step in a change of career, or you may simply want to have a go for the sheer challenge and enjoyment of it. Either way, it's a great opportunity to learn the basics of how a helicopter flies, and actually take the controls and have a go.

We offer a wide range of trial lesson options, both as gift vouchers to treat someone special, or even to treat yourself! If flying a helicopter has been a lifelong ambition, why not give it a try?

The options range from half an hour in a two-seat Robinson R22 to a whole hour in Bell 206 JetRanger, to a complete Flight Discovery Day, which is a chance to get to grips with the helicopter for a whole day, with ground school, over two hours in the air, and lunch thrown in as well! This is a great way to start off as all the hours count towards your PPL(H).
