Trial Flying Lesson

Have you ever wanted to take the controls of a helicopter and fly? It's an amazing feeling. A trial lesson is an air experience flight, designed to do exactly that, and it will leave you buzzing for days!

It could be your first step in a change of career, or you may simply want to have a go for the challenge and enjoyment of it. Either way, it's a great opportunity to learn the basics of how a helicopter flies, and experience how it feels to fly it!

We offer a wide range of trial lesson options, both as gift vouchers to treat someone special (or even to treat yourself!) or alternatively you can give us a call and make a booking for the date of your choice. If flying a helicopter has been a lifelong ambition, why not give it a try?

The options range from hover challenge in the Schweizer 300 helicopter, or a trial flight in the Robinson R22, to a whole hour in Bell 206 JetRanger where you can fly around some great local landmarks and get a bird's eye view of the world.

You can find out more about trial lesson options and prices by clicking here. 20 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute trial lessons are available seven days a week, and hover challenges and 15 minute trial lessons operate on certain weekends throughout the year.

If one session is not enough, and you want to experience the ultimate helicopter training package, we can arrange a complete Flight Discovery Day, which is a chance to get to grips with the helicopter spending a whole two and a half hours at the controls, with several hours ground school and lunch thrown in as well! This is a great way to start off as all the hours count towards your PPL(H).
