Pennine Heli-Dining!

Helicentre Aviation invites all students and hour builders to join us on a fantastic trip around the Pennines!

Helicopters will depart in loose formation for a transit through East Midlands Zone (over the runway if available!), over to Hucknall airfield for a drop of fuel before taking on the 2000 foot mountains of the Pennines!

After taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains, natural reservoirs and moorlands, including the Dambusters run, we will continue our journey north to land at the famously helicopter friendly hotel, The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel & Spa where we will dine in a four star restaurant.

Our journey will then take us west to either another private site, again a four start hotel, or on to Blackpool or Manchester Barton Airport for a full refuel and a coffee.

From our final departure point we will fly south down the Manchester Low Level Corridor, providing great experience of some of the UK's busiest airspace outside of London before heading home.

The whole journey will be flown dual with an instructor unless both the mountain course and confined area course have been previously passed.

The flight time should be a no more than 5 hours weather permitting, that's 5 hours of some of the most amazing flying you'll ever put in your logbook! A sure fire trip for any aspiring CPL(H).
